OK, so I may have been to quick to judge Twitter, having never actually used it to much extent (bar creating an account). So, I’m giving it another shot.
If you’ve got a Twitter account, add me, my username is stylereactor
Show me some neat things you can do with it, and help me convince myself that it’s useful. I’ll of course be announcing my mundane experience in timely Tweets, as that seems to be the norm. ![]()

Well, for a start, you can display your latest tweet on your website, like I do on mine.
That way, if you don’t update that regularly with posts, your readers do get some fresh content, which is something they expect from you.
Then, it’s just up to yu to strike a reasonable balance between never updating (which makes it pointless) and sending a Tweet every time you sit down to lunch or go to wash your hands.
I’m debating on whether I should sign up or not. I thought it’d be the same as like an “aside” post but being able to update from your phone is interesting. That feature actually reminds of Facebook’s “current status” which can updated by text message. I like the point Astorg makes. I’m mostly away from my computer or really busy so twitter might be able to help keep my blog update. I guess I’ll give it a try.
Btw, thank you for the Joost invite. I’ll be a regular reader!
I just don’t get the point of twitter.
I don’t even care what I’m doing every second of the day, how can I expect someone else to care about it? It all seems like self inflicted stalking for those who need some type of ego boost.
Am I missing something?
