Get Tube Icon Replacement

There’s a great little OS X Application called Get Tube that has proved itself amazingly useful and simple in performing it’s task. Just copy and paste the URL of a YouTube video (it also supports a couple of other video sites) and Get Tube will automatically download and convert it to either an MP4 (MPEG 4 video) or MP3.
Even though it’s a great program, I’m not too fond of its icon. So, I’ve come up with a simple little replacement icon, to fully justify this great app’s place on my dock.

If you’re getting a little tired of the Get Tube icon, Download My Replacement. If you don’t have Get Tube, I highly recommend trying it out. (Note: It uses VLC for transcoding, so you need that too)

Nice icon. Too bad that I’m on a PC. =)
Wow, that’s definitely an improvement. Ahh but I have a PC too.
Nice work indeed. I like the simplification–gets right to the point. Me, I’m also still stuck on PC, but saving for another Mac.
Nice icon. Unforunately I neither got an iPod video nor a mac.
But saving for a mac book
When’s the iPhone coming to the UK? (or is it here?)
splendid! the program and your icon are fantastic. thanks!
Thanks. Now if I can get Get Tube to work again. All of a sudden all I get is a message that says “An invalid public movie atom was found in the movie.”
On an iMac 10.4.1 – any ideas. I get NO response from VREL
I’m the GetTube developper…I used this icon for the Version 2.0 !!!
Sorry for my English
I download both Get Tube and VLC. So far I am getting nothing. Is there a simple explanation of how these are used to You Tube videos? This is what I have done. When I click the Get Tube icon, I get the screen with the two browsers. When I click the “FireFox” icon, I get a window stating “Getting Title Information.” It flashes for only a second and then disappears. If I click the “Get Tube Cart”, that takes me nowhere. Help!
A new version of Get Tube 2.2 is available on my web site
