Wow thats a really good idea. I’m going to try to find someone to work on this, i think… Would also work well on the Windows taskbar.

I don’t have any space left in my finder bar. And I don’t like twitter. It the procrastinators nightmare. I’ve seen a lot of people wasting (valuable) work time on twitter. Besides that: good idea!

Looks nice! But I think it doesn’t scale with 160 characters on 13″ or 15″ screen :/

You are so right about this. I am new to twitter and finding it really tedious to go all the way to the twitter website or to some random GUI just to post a few lines of text. Hopefully somebody can realize this idea. It would also be nice to have some type of syncing between status updates (Twitter, Google, Facebook, etc.). This is the closest i've sen so far but it only syncs Twitter to GChat.
