Resistance Test:While the tool in this mode, contact the probe tip to a circuit, then the LCD display will read the resistance between the tip and auxiliary ground lead.
Diode Test:In this mode, the probe tip contact the positive terminal of the diode, connect the auxiliary ground lead to the negative terminal of the diode, the screen will display the forward voltage drop, indicates the forward bias. If exchange the probe tip and auxiliary ground lead, the screen will not display the voltage, indicates the reverse bias.
Signal Circuit Testing:Once you extract a DTC from the vehicle and realize that troubleshooting begins with some kind of sensor circuit, there is a quick test you can perform to verify the code. Testing your sensor is easy while using the tool.

Fuel Inject Mode:
There are a variety of currently used techniques and tools that can test a fuel injector or injector circuitry; however it usually involves using multiple tools and tests to check every aspect of the injector circuit. Complete testing could take quite a bit of time.
Fuel Inject Mode is specifically set up for quick and easy diagnosis of the fuel injection circuit. A quick connection to the circuit and the KM50 will display all the information needed to test the injectors. To reset the maximum and minimum values, press the mode button twice.
If no valid injector pulse is detected in this mode, a bar icon will be displayed instead.
Frequency and Duty Cycle Mode:
The car's electronic control system communicates with various sensors via digital signals. When the car fails, you need to use the instrument to check whether the frequency of the signal or the duty cycle is abnormal.
Press the Mode button to enter the menu, and press the Down button momentarily to place the cursor in the frequency mode, and press the Mode button momentarily to enter the frequency waveform display mode.

Buzzer and LED light are Switchable:
When you measure the voltage DC, if the voltage is 0V, the green indicator light will be on and the buzzer will sound twice; if the voltage is above 5V, the red indicator light will be on and the buzzer will sound once. When the resistance value is less than 30Ω, the buzzer of the device sounds and the green indicator LED lights up.
