This CO2Sensor & Controller (wall-mount) is designed forfast and accurate measurement of CO2 level, humidity,air temperature, dew point temperature and wet bulb. Itmonitors CO2 concentration level and can controlsventilation system such as air conditioning to operate onlywhen its necessary without the need for occupant intervention.With CO2 Monitor & Controller you are ensuredwith a healthy workplace requiring minimum energy consumptionwhile simultaneously maintaining Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).
It can be set in 2 alarm limits:upper & lower limit. It has an audible & visualalarm to give warning when CO2 concentrationexceeds the limit. Once CO2 level goes back tonormal the alarm will automatically stop, but can be alsobe stop by pressing any key. It also has a built-in relay which can be connected to an Indoor AirQuality (IAQ) system to control the opening and closingof the system. In addition, it has PC Link that cansend gathered data directly to your PC for on-line loggingand data analysis via the optional RS-232 interface andsoftware (not included in set).
When the unit gets a high reading of CO2and there is no ventilation system attached, the user willbe notified via the beeping alarm and flashing LED lightand will automatically stop once CO2 concentrationgoes back to its normal level or a key has been pressed.
Poor indoor air quality in rooms can leadto fatigue, lack of concentration and illness (Sick BuildingSyndrome) due to high CO2 concentration.
