Extremely Rare Pair of Monitor Audio MA1 II in Rosewood (All Original Beuties) For Sale

Excellent Condition pair of Monitor Audio LTD of Cambridge England these are Model MA1 Series II in the impossible to find Rosewood Option.The rosewood cabinetsare stunning just like the sound from these speakers. Weight is 65 lbs. each with size 30\"T x 13 1/2\"W x 14 1/2\"D. These are currently hooked up to my Spectral system and ready to audition. Below is a little info on speakers:For the audiophile ~ A high value loudspeaker, this relatively large enclosure demonstrates an unusually lively and uncoloured performance. The base driver is the renowned KEF B139 with its improved chassis and high power format. The mid-range from 375 Hz to 3 KHz is handled by an exclusive 160 mm bextrene cone unit of proven reliability and consistency. The HF driver is a special version of an established design, here employing a 25 mm polycarbonate dome. The grade of dome plastic is selected for its damping properties and additional damping is applied by Monitor Audio engineers. The cabinet employs 17 mm double veneered chipboard panels with resonance control pads. A bass reflex design, the cabinet is tuned higher than the nominal 20 Hz resonances of B139, and is damped by a dense packing of polyester wadding.Folks these compete and have the sound of other England\'s speakers like vintage KEF B&W Mission ProAc Tannoy Cambridge Audio and Linn. I have auditioned many speakers in the past and these are on my best 5 list. Cabinets are a solid 9+ on a 1-10 scale.
