It is an Avoton C2550 to be specific. I have found that it runs with very little power, and can still handle large workloads. What do I need to successfully stream 1800p and 4K video?There are a couple things to remember: videos, in there native state are \"compressed\" and when your computer or player \"plays\" them, it uncompresses the files, which is why you need a decent processor to play 4K movies. Plex, and other streamers, only stream the compressed video to the endpoint. Once there, the video is de-compressed and presented on your screen. So the media server only has to be capable of \"pulling up\" your videos, and streaming them across a network or theInternet. 4K requires about 15Mbps, 3D is about12Mbps, and Super HD is about 7Mbps. The server, and the drives connected to it, have to have enough speed to handle those transfer rates. One standard HD has a minimum of about 55 Mbps. An SSD can have up to (theoretically) 550Mbps.I have tested the machine with 4 standard 500GB drives and was getting 100Mbps transfer out of the computer. I played several movies (at the same time) and had absolutely no streaming issues. Assuming you have newer hardware, and your network is up to it, you should have no problems at all. If you plan on streaming outside your network to theInternet, you will have to have a fast enough upload speed to handle the streaming you wantto do.In other words, this server will do great, and if you purchase it and it doesn\'t do what you want it to do, I will return it under the warranty, no questions asked.
