For Sale we have an IBM NetVista X40 Type 6643 Model 32U All-In-One PC. IBM was one of the earliest manufacturers of all-in-one desktops, and promoted them primarily for industrial and institutional use, although this one was obviously someone's home computer for part of its life. It has a 1 GHz Pentium III, 512 Meg of RAM (The maximum amount possible; trust me, I tried 1GB and it didn't work) and 19 Gigabytes of effective hard drive capacity. Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 is installed and operational. There are two low-profile PCI slots in this machine, currently populated with a modem and a NIC. There are PS/2 ports for keyboard and mouse, and three USB ports on the back panel. This unit is equipped with a CD-ROM drive and a floppy diskette drive (3 1/2", 1.44 Megabyte type) -these have not been tested. The audio subsystem works. The back panel is missing, but this doesn't effect operation.
