This unit looks to be in very nice condition and possibly brand new! The mounting bracket is included as pictured. It may need additional hardware. I believe the tube was manufactured in or around 1998. This was acquired by my sister and I from our late father\'s extensive ham radio collection from his ham shack. He was a ham for many years and unfortunately has passed away recently.
This article was last kept in my dad\'s \"ham radio room\" closet stored with lots of other equipment and gadgets. I believe it is fully functional or he probably would have noted it otherwise. I do not believe this was a used item but instead a collectible or to be used in a future project of his. It comes in an original Sony box but I do not believe it\'s the same box it was originally shipped in.
My dad\'s main passion was amateur radio in which he had the highest level certification and 45 years industry experience. I am unsure whether this particular item falls in that category but I\'m sure someone knows.
