This GPS Tracker was specially made for vehicles.It\'s a new product based on the GSM/GPRS (850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz)network and satellite positioning system. It sets multiple functions such as real time positioning,security, monitoring surveillance, emergency alarms and tracking in its entirety.
It now has a SD Card Slot.
WHAT DO I NEED TOGET IT TO WORK?
There is No subscription fees involved, No contractto sign.
All you need is an activated pre-paid GSM SIM Card from a provider such as T-Mobile, MetroPCS orH2O, this is in case you are in the USA. But If you are located overseas, meaningina country other than the USA, please get your SIM Card from a provider of GSM Services in your Country because this device will only work under a GSM Network. If you leave in Canada for example, use Rogers or Fido. If you are in Mexico or Latin America, use Telcel, Movistar, Claro. Please make sure you get a Standard (Mini) SIM Card, the biggest in size.
NOTE: For US users,AT&T,TRACFONE, VERIZON, SPRINT, VIRGINMobile SIM CARDS WILL NOT WORK WITH THESE UNITS.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The unit is powered by automotive battery, and should be installed inside a vehicle (preferably a place where it cannot be seen, for example, under the car seat). It runs on the latest GPS SiRF III chip-set, a sophisticated GPS microchip embedded into the heart of the tracker which continually reads its own location from low orbiting global satellites and then utilizes the GSM/GPRS infrastructure operated by your network provider to transmit its current location to you.
Then you can operate it on PC (Google map or software Platform) and Mobile phone. All you need to do is insert a working SIM card, it even has Quad-band Connectivity so it works anywhere in the world. The GPS Car Tracker makes no sound at all, so you are fully aware of what is happening to your car, but the inside driver and passenger don`t know that their activity and locations are been constantly reported.
