I purchased 2 of these from Walmart new. I used them both to work with my Power Mac editing with Final Cut Pro & also my photography photos. I also watched movies streaming & used a Blu-ray player with it. The picture was astonishing with great detail! Gaming was prefect to. They're very well built, purchased in 2012 still using them today in 2016. I haven't found a need to update to 4K just yet. As far as people saying it doesn't have an HDMI input on it that's true, however you can buy an adapter from MONOPRICE on the Web for cheap & you'll be able to use a HDMI cable with it. It's able to tilt up & down & does have built in speakers which are nice. I use my studio speakers for sound though. Before buying this monitor I did extensive research before purchasing & this model had excellent reviews by Maxium PC & was highly recommended. Even today I've had absolutely no issues with either of the two monitors & they're both working great just like they did when first purchased. I highly recommend this monitor even for today.
