I paired this with another 8Gb stick of the same genre for a 16Gb system. Runs in paired mode @ the specified speed rating. It is quite tall so if your mb has the memory slots close to the cpu socket or you have a large cpu cooler they might not fit. The flip side is that they run nice and cool due to lots of cooling fin area.
