I bought the camera because I dislike digital cameras and looking at photos on it's small screen. No one seems to take the time to actually develop the pictures and eventually they just erase them. I prefer looking at snapshots. I like the camera as a whole but i find that the zoom feature seems to cause some pictures to blur when extended further out. I'm really still learing to use it property so perhaps that opinion is premature. I plan to take the camera with me to Italy in April so let's hope I become more skilled by then.
This is a great film camera! I bought it for the zoom feature and it didn’t let me down - has a great range. It takes great pictures and is easy on batteries (alerts you when the batteries are getting low so you have time to replace them!) Putting in film is easy - the camera automatically prepares it for that first picture. I took my older daughter’s senior pictures with the Sure Shot Z115 and they turned out terrific. There are buttons to manually turn on or off the flash or you can let the camera take care of it. Self-Timer feature is nice. This is a nice sturdy camera and I would be using it a lot more now if I didn’t enjoy the instant gratification of my digital camera so much!
It is so handy and easy to use, and the picture quality is great for a snap-shot type camera. The telephoto lens works great and helps capture the more difficult shots. I am crippled, and need a camera I can use with one hand. I keep it in my truck for wildlife photos, and works great for family and informal group photos. It is getting a lot of use! I am very satisfied with this product and Canon products in general, I have many of them. They have never failed to perform, and exceedingly well. All the best, doug
This camera purchase replaced a previous SureShot camera that just died of old age. I still prefer 35mm cameras vs. digital and we were confident with purchasing the same line of camera. It's in great shape but my only complaint is there is more of a delay from the time you click the shutter button to the time the picture is actually taken and the film advances, so you have to be quick and hope your toddler doesn't squirm too much! It's a solid, reliable camera and I hope this one lasts as long as our previous SureShot.
I've had the same type of camera before and lost it. I really love the great pictures that it takes and missed having this camera. I have bought several other cameras ( digital and 35mm ) which did not compare to this particular model. I highly recommend this and have been very pleased overall.
