Won it on an auction, said it was Like New, but we knew something must have been wrong with it. It's not bad for $70, impressive 1280x1024 resolution supports both digital (DVI) and analog (VGA) signals only con was that The menu button did not work or had very slow response because the menu kept on popping up and would leave in 5 seconds as if somebody pressed the menu button repeatedly and now its loading it every now and then. So I Had to replace the entire Key Control LED Assembly which only cost $8 but now its as good as new im sure a high quality graphics card would make the images look absolutely stunning from what I have now. It is NOT height adjustable, which is ok It does have a tilt,I mainly use PC at home for web design, graphics design, surf web for more cool auctions like this and watch a few movies. This monitor is good enough for that. does not have any dead pixels. I am happy with my decision.Read full review
I bought my first VX910 in May 2005. Eleven months later Viewsonic had to replace it. That was 1.5 years ago. Now the replacement has gone out as well and I find out that this particular monitor is only 1 of 9 that Viewsonic gives a one year warranty for. Oh...I forgot to mention that if I lived OUTSIDE THE USA the monitor would be covered for three years! I can't get an explanation from Viewsonic about this. I propose that Viewsonic knows there is a problem with this monitor...hence the 1 year warranty instead of 3. My stand is that I am being penalized for living in the US. While this is an excellent monitor, be aware of the crummy warranty. Check out the VX912...it has the 3 year warranty.
This 19 inch LCD monitor is excellent. Is has great picture, a sleek design, features hidden cables from the back and dosen't include one of the "brick" power cords. Has great picture quality, color, etc..
I love this monitor a lot. I had a Daewoo before and it went out so I decided to upgrade to viewsonic since they had good reviews. I use this for not only generic web apps, I do graphical design, web design andphoto editting and it has true color on it!. I plan on buying a second one to dual up my computer!!
What I like about it is that it matches the other VX910 that I have.I was running a VX910 along with a Samsung in a duel monitor setup. I chose the ViewSonic because the picture is sharp and completely customizable to suite my needs. The controls are easy to use and understand.
