This has to be the cheapest and easiest way to add 6TB of storage to a computer! It's easy to use; I just wish I had USB 3.0 support on my old PC. I'm using it for video footage, and it looks like it'll be fast enough to play back one stream of 4K 100bmps footage in Premiere Pro. I haven't yet tried two or more streams. It's not quite silent: I can hear a gentle tapping noise when I'm writing to it, but it's certainly not noisy. And being portable, it's a great way to take large amounts of video footage from one computer to another.

Externally it looks fine. Still had protective plastic around it. The clips were all broken and pieces were rattling around inside of it. It will work and close but when this thing was opened force was used lol. I understand the description says no cables but it would have been nice to include.

Have consolidated all my external drives onto this drive though it is now full it frees up 3 other drives of 6 TB... Transfer rate is not great so plan on spending some time when dumping 2-300 gb onto the drive.. has no problem running video off the drive could not have imagined owning a 6tb drive just a couple yrs ago.... Value is good and it came quickly from the provider.... recommend it as a large capacity place to hold your important stuff, Mike
