very nice uses one battery vs most use two or three aaa
this is the third one of have bought from three different places and this one looks like its cheap on pics but I was very happy when I got it. Its weight is heavy so it got to be better id say. like I said uses one aa battery the other two used three aaa s and would run out of juice in just five days. So I hope this one last longer other to have broke already do to moisture getting inside of it an blacking out the screen. Very happy so far will write again in two months cuz that's when the other two went out crazy they do it same thing almost exactly on the day. So hopefully this one is the last one thks jes

Temperature reading is only relatively accurate
Bought 3 of these units, so I could monitor various parts of the house for temperature and humidity. I noticed that when I put all three units side-by-side in the same environment, they displayed temperatures that could vary by as much as 4 degrees. This was true if all three of them were placed in a warm room, an air conditioned room, and even on the same shelf inside a refrigerator. Strangely enough, the display of humidity never seem to vary by more than 1 percent.

Not AcuRite At All
I have the same AcuRite thermometer that is very old and it keeps the correct temperature very well. My two older thermometers stay very close to each other and this one reads as much as four degrees higher than the others. I also have an infrared thermometer gun that reads very close to my older thermometers. I have been comparing within a close range of temperatures and I suspect as the temperatures get higher or lower the difference would actually be farther off than it is now. I won't buy this product again.

I like the combo but would like to see a setting to flip the large humidy to large temp. Humid is largest number on display.
