Great Monitor. Very simple; perfect for what I needed! All I needed was a simple monitor to use for a supplemental computer in my office. Didn't need widescreen, didn't need anything too big or too fancy; just needed a plain old monitor. This worked perfectly.
The monitor was sold as is so I cannot really make a complaint except that, the listing said the monitor offered a Nice Picture. However much to my dismay as soon as it was attached the monitor showed a slightly shaky picture. Since then it has started to Power up then the screen darkens to the point where nothing can be viewed. It is still powered on when this occurs. If you turn it off and back on it lights normally for about three seconds then you are back to a dark screen. This was not the best purchase I have made on ebay, but like I said it was sold as is, no returns.
I loved it, oh yes, I did. It was my first flat screen LCD monitor and it was so sexy and took up so little space on my desk. Bought it (along with the computer) in November 2004. Used it gently in a home environment. Then, it died (April 2007). Suddenly and with little warning. It isn't even three years old yet! I've never had a monitor crash so completely in such a little time. Somehow I expected more from Dell...more longevity or something. Checked their tech forum and found that I'm not the only one experiencing this loss. My advice: think twice.
This is a great monitor especially for college students in a dorm or someone needing to save space. I wish I still had a need for mine, but I got another huge LCD flat screen from Dell that I love.
The product is great. Just was I wanted and no problems with it at all. A crystal clear picture every time I turn it on.
