I bought this item used, so far its been good. The monitor has built in speakers so you don't need additional speakers to take up space. I don't have another monitor to compare the sharpness or color on the monitor but it seems to be pretty good. I use it to surf the web as well as to do paper work and it does its job as a monitor. I like the fact that is 22" so its good for watching movies or any kind of videos. The monitor does not rotate but I believe it tilts up and down for adjustments. The monitor is a lcd and thin which is a plus. Its a good monitor and remember its a lcd so don't try to compare it to the LED monitors which are by far the best to get if you can afford them. Not much else to say. If you want the full specks on the monitor for what connections it has, I'm sure you can google it, I'm just pretty much giving you my 2cents on it as a user.Read full review
Great monitor with terrific & clear resolution. Love the wide-screen. Checked before getting one, and found this monitor has lots of good raves. Has ONE bad flaw, though, that may have been manufactured/designed into it: As noted on the online forums, this monitor's backlight power supply may have a tendency to go dim and/or out, leaving the screen dark. But, NO need to worry about throwing your $$ away on this monitor. Fortunately, the fix is an EASY one for under $10 (cost of parts), though a bit annoying!!! (The one I got needed repair.) According the forums, the CapXon branded capacitors tend to be a bit weak, and blow more readily, whereas the Taicon branded ones seem to hold up better. On the monitor I have, as appears to be typically the case, ALL five CapXon branded (of eight total) capacitors blew. Replacing these five fixed the monitor! (Got 'em from Radio Shack for $1.79 each.) Once they are replaced with better quality capacitors (as I did), shouldn't have any more trouble, barring a lightning strike or other power surge!!! The 25V capacitors are the ones usually needing replacing, while the 10V Taicon's may not. Recommend replacing with next higher rated capacitors -- (MUST be identical uF ratings to originals) replace the 25V capacitors with 35V ones, and 10V ones with 16V (IF needed). (The Radio Shack I went to didn't have 25V's and 10V's, anyway.) The best online forum I found giving the most detailed instructions on repairing these monitors, is located at: http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/repairing-the-westinghouse-lcm-22w3/Read full review
Excellent picture quality, speakers leave a little to be desired, but they are good for internal speakers. Overall a good monitor.
Love it looks great and couldn't be happier. Everything is so large and bright it is just the best. It is like being in the picture.
Great inexpensive replacement monitor if they keep it cheap. Was really looking for a 26" but couldn't locate one.
