The light weight compact designed of this monitor greatly increases its' practical uses and portability. It features HP's Slim Line build which provides for easy desk top placement or wall mounting. The connection points and controls are recessed rear, face down or on the side to support your desired use of the monitor. With this modern design, dual intergrated speakers and telescoping height adjustment the HP vs15 is a great buy for the general purposes at about $180.00. (The only missing feature is lateral rotation of the screen at teh base.)
I purchased this monitor because it matched the hp pc I also purchased off ebay. There is nothing I dislike about this monitor. It has a picture perfect view. It also tilts forword or backward to make it easy for short people or tall people to use. I had an Acer monitor and it doesn't even compare to the hp monitor. The color isn't as crisp and clear and it was stationary where as the hp monitor isn't. I am a very happy owner of the hp 15" monitor.
Hewlett Packard vs15 (Gray, Silver) 15 inch LCD Monitor Is a sleek modern monitor that give more space on my desk then a conventional bulky monitor. The display has great color with vivid crisp picture. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase. The only draw back is the built in speakers sound is a bit tinny, and the sound cable was not included with the purchase of the monitor. Despite the of the speaker issue, I would recommend the Hewlett Packard vs15 (Gray, Silver) 15 inch LCD Monitor for any one looking to save space on their computer desk.
I bought my monitor, in great shape and cheaper, on Ebay. The picture is very good. You'll need the 'Cable To Go PC-99 Audio Cable' for the built in speakers. I'm not sure if any 3.5 mm mini phone jacks stereo speaker cable would work or not? The monitor can be mounted on the wall and used as a small TV (not in wet locations) or with a computer. I cannot complain about it. It's easy to use features make set up quick and easy. It's a great monitor if you can find one in great condition, buy it used.
HP made a real winner! Great value; very smart and slick. Nice size. The screen feel and looks larger than 15"s. Good speakers for general use. Convenient and easy to plug in better quality speakers into the headset jack for better music quality.
