Finally maxed out my x61 tablet/laptop frankenstein lenovo hybrid with max 8 GB memory. Was then able to move my old memory to another machine to up that as well. Like the unofficial forums state, Hynix will work to increase an x61 with a stable set of 8 GB if you maintain a 64 bit OS. Techwise, you need to let the bios register it dimm by dimm and then you are good to go! Thank you... it took forever to find something compatible. The memory also arrived quickly. No issues.

For my older Dell 1545 running Win7 64bit this worked great. Upgraded from 4gb to 6gb by swapping this into bank one. It helped tremendously. Then I swapped the old HD for an SSD and the system works faster than ever. Restart time has gone from "might as well go make a cup of coffee" to under 90 seconds depending on how fast I type my password :-). I can look at running Win10 now.

Amazing little SODIM! Makes a great cup of coffee but did not clean up it's mess. Can't teach it to vacuum the house Sharp edges limit use in other functions. Gimme a break! It's a piece of ten year old memory! Two or three generations out of date. It worked; that's all lI care about.

Upgrading my laptop RAM from 4GB to 8GB has really made a difference to my system's responsiveness. Programs load more quickly & I am able to open multiple programs without slowing my system down. Although I cannot compare different brands, the Hynix RAM modules I purchased work great & I am very pleased with my purchase.

Relatively good price for 4GB RAM for older laptops. Excellent performance from major brand. Took a risk on "used" but it works fine.
