Bright and colorful picture on it. For those who don't know, HDMI will always give better color then DVI or VGA. The only thing I don't like about the monitor is that every time it fully powers off (unplug from wall) I have to reset the "Auto-Switch) setting on source control. The strange thing is that the default setting is off, but it's most certainly on. Also occasionally when turned off by power button and back on, it doesn't show anything so you have to turn it back off and back on again. I own 2 of these, it's a manufactured defect. I don't mind but have seen others complain that it is too glossy which causes you to see reflections on the screen. I have these in an office with mood lighting and generally like it dimly lit. So the gloss is not a problem for me. Another reason I really like this model is because you can turn off the "Power LED" in its settings menu! For the gamers out there: I have my pixel clock set to 188.4 (76 Hz) which is the highest this monitor can handle at 3ms response time. It's not as good as a 120 Hz and higher but also not as expensive and it does make a noticeably clearer picture than running 60 Hz. Just don't forget to sync your frames or you will still get tearing issues. I have "EVGA Precision X" limiting my frames to 76 and used their Pixel Clock OC tool to set the refresh rate on my monitors. NOTE: I am using HDMI cables to each monitor. Do NOT try to increase your pixel clocks with VGA/DVI. Get a dual link DVI or HDMI cable. Has no HDMI ports. DVI and VGA ports are fine. Some red-vertical pixel lines that may be indicative of age. Power button somewhat stubborn. Otherwise great--up to 1920x1080P on my rig.

I had seen this lcd monitor before, in a best buy, and it was awesome. after I won mine off ebay, its proven to be just as awesome, as expected, on my desk. I love it, the colors are great, and the clarity, of the images are too. Very clear, and easy to see. Only thing, that was hard to adjust was the resolution, but after about 30 minutes, that was also set. Overall its a great monitor. My wife has one, just like it.
Purchased this item for a Christmas gift for my grandsons. During the burn-in phase the contrast was beautiful and set-up was so easy. The EBAY purchase price was approximately $75.00 less that for the same product as other stores are advertising. Best advice I have to offer is find out and price what you really want at other sources and start searching EBAY until you are satisfied with the comparisons.
I had purchased a new one prior to purchasing this one. I liked that the setup was easy and the display is very bright and clear. The built in speakers sound very good.
