I already had a Dell E197FP black monitor that came with my XPS desktop. I just love the quality of the monitor's display. When I decided to get another monitor in order to have 2 displays on my desk. I was determined to get another Dell, and decided to get the Dell E198FP black monitor. I chose the Dell E198FP because it ws the same type of monitor, but it was rated slightly higher than the E197FP. Since I had such a great experience with the E197FP, I was determined to try the E198FP which looks identical, but is rated slightly higher. I have been extremely happy with both monitors. I use them for photo & video editing.
