I had been looking for some DS/DD floppy disks to use with my Commodore 64 drives, since many of my own disks from the 80s and 90s had been incorrectly stored and most no longer worked. Having obtained some used disks locally and some unused ones from Europe, I was getting a lot of failures due to the inferior brands. It was a struggle to find any branded, "new old stock" disks in the UK for a decent price so I took a punt and imported a carton of these into the UK (this cost me as much in shipping and import duty as the disks themselves). I have only tested one box of 10 disks so far, but not a single bad disk yet. I've since been informed that since these disks were originally manufactured for government and educational use, they are actually better quality than the consumer-grade disks that would have been sold to the public. I don't have any way to back that up, but it does make sense.Read full review

I purchased these disks to use in my Apple IIe and old 486 pc. The disks arrived well packed and without damage. The boxes of 10 were individually wrapped and each box even includes labels and write protect tabs. Typically I've found new 5.25" diskettes more unreliable than the ones made in the 80's, but these were flawless. Of the 10 I grabbed out of the first box not a single one was bad! Thank you for selling a good product here.

Very great value, format a couple of them and every single of them was formatted successfully. No failure. Excellent value. Recommended if you need 360k floppies for retro computing (which sound weird today).

Despite being an old technology disk, these DSDD disks were great right out of the box.
