I bought the ZTE Jetpack 890L for the price, plain and simple. The range of this device is not the greatest (you have to have your device right next to it for a reliable WiFi connection. Still, it does the job decent enough. If you are in a 4G area, then the device will hold the signal enough. But the WiFi range is not good when I have my work phone connected to it. Unlike other devices (like a newer Novatel device), there is no way to hook up an external antenna to give a better WiFi signal. STILL, I bought this device to have mobile Internet if I travel with my laptop, and for that this device does the job decent enough. It is very easy to configure as well. One other thing is that this device does run a little hot. I would probably not buy this device again and would probably spring for a Novatel device. STILL, if price is an issue and you just want easy mobile Internet (especially if you have unlimited 4G data, like I do) then this device is not terrible, provided you buy it less than $80 (new), if you can help it.Read full review
Hello friends! I bought this router - an excellent model and the quality of its work! A huge plus - support for all types of SIM cards. Now the Internet is always with me!

Very Best you can get to hook up 10 devices at one time. If you have 4g where u live and take it to some place that only has 3g coverage then u can turn it to 3g! Once you go to the Verizon store and get your sim card(always free if u have an account or r setting up one!) install and start surfing superfast 4g LTE! Where I live in Maine (Ughhhhhhhh) Verizon has not as good of coverage a US Cellular, I have same Router just says US Cellular on it. 4g Is faster then satellite, DSL through phone company, dial up and so on. The only thing I have seen faster then 4g is through the cable company but cant get that where I live and u cant take Cable internet on the go with you! They r all password protected and the password is changeable. It is right under back cover near the SIM. If u r debating on getting one....... DON'T best $55 I have ever spent and free shipping!Read full review
Unit arrived in a timely manner and appears to be in good shape and fully functional. Unfortunately I wanted to use it with a Verizon Pre-Paid Data Plan as we are planning a trip where my mobile carrier coverage is weak at best. Took the unit to Verizon to activate and was told even though the unit was not on either the 'no pay' or 'stolen' lists, it could not be activated with a Pre-Paid Data Plan. Only option was to sign up for a month-to-month data plan at the time of the trip and cancel when we get back.
At first, unit wouldn’t function. Even Verizon tech support had no answer. We replaced battery with the one in our old device and got it going. But our old battery is weak, so have ordered a new one.
