I bought my middle-age parents a new pc for Christmas but was disappointed when they started looking at tablet pcs 2 weeks before they were to open their gift. Luckily, I found this monitor and I actually think a stand-alone touch screen monitor is more beneficial than buying the all-in-one pc. After all if they get bored with the touch screen accessory they can simply get rid of the monitor and buy a hi-def monitor. After 2 months, the monitor works great. There are some quirks that could be worked out, such as a lack of sensitivity in the corners, limited useful software, etc. etc. Definatly a neat alternative and definatly worth checking out
- heavy - touch items at edge not calibrated, and things at edge hard to touch, if they're right up against bezel - works well though across most of the display - should design touch UI to have larger buttons to touch, obviously
