Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Network Attached Storage
This is the second Seagate Central that I own. I put all my pictures and video on this Network Attached Storage (NAS) and I am able to view the pictures and video on any TV or mobile device in the house that is DLNA Certified Media Player. This includes most smart TV's and those sticks and little media player boxes. Forget the little 4" phone screen and watch on the 70" + living room TV.

This product is the pits. I simply wanted some extra NAS space to share among my Pcs but this thing creates weird folders under all the top level folders and I have no idea why. I keep deleting them and they keep reappearing. I want my data UNTOUCHED by Seagate or anyone else. Another example of companies that ASSUME they can mess with YOUR data. Horrible.

I can access it from any computer and can access the Manage Seagate Central, but when I try to get the app for things like installing my Plex server on the NAS, the app website can't find my NAS on the network. So it works great but I can't take advantage of any of the apps available. I tried Seagate Support but like a lot of Support sites, they answered a different question by saying they don't support third part apps, when the real problem was getting to their apps.

If you enjoy downloading movies and video to play on your Smart TV, this one works great. The only issue I had was that the TV wouldn't see all of the movie folders. This is what I found to get the TV to update. I logged into my Seagate Central page then clicked the "Services" tab. Clicked the DLNA icon and un-checked the "enable" box. Then checked the "enable" box and clicked "Re-scan". That was it. Every folder then showed up on the TV. Hope this helps someone. Took me a while to figure it out. Pat

So far, I can only access it from one computer. I have another cloud 2TB Seagate drive and they both don't seem to work together.
