PRO: It's a Dell, built like a tank, Tough & Compact. The Windows 7 Pro is an easy upgrade to windows 10 and the system seems to like it . The graphics are fine for normal videos but will need an upgrade for any upscale gaming. Plenty of Hard Drive for Photo /Video storage. There are 4 Memory slots used so if you want to upgrade it's easy. CON: There is only one spot for a DVD player/writer which probably doesn't make much difference to most of us. Also there is no Internal Speaker so you need a Headset or External Speakers.

The physical dimensions of the case is much larger that I expected. Its called a desktop, but you'll want to put this unit on the floor next to the desktop. Its humongous. ( 17 x 16 x 7.5) Power supply fan is very quiet. The on-board video is only barely sufficient for most applications. So if you're likely to do any gaming or graphics-related work , fuggettaboudit. A video upgrade will be your first mod. Other than the on-board video limitations, and the huge physical size, this is a nice unit.

I brought this because my HP desktop tower just wasn't making it. It was nearing ten years old and I was trying hard to not have to buy another computer. So instead I found this tower that had just about everything I needed. I like how it came with Windows 7 Premium and the set up was pretty easy. My old monitor and keyboard among other accessories I have all plugged into the tower perfectly and works much more smoother! I can not Skype with family and friends and do projects that have been put off due to my old slow computer! I am officially caught up with my projects and I am able to do more! The only thing is the disc drive doesn't always open when standing (mine only) but it opens when I turn it to the side. It plays the CDs nicely and I have no other complaints really. It's a really great product and if you are looking to replace the tower only, this is the product to get!! I got it at a great price and save myself $$$ a few hundred bucks!Read full review
This is the second Dell I've purchased from an Ebay seller in as many years. First was an Optiplex 755 for my wife and then an Optiplex 745 for our friend who needed help because she knows little about computers. Both were to replace outdated machines and they are very happy with them. I'm looking at a Dell GX745 for myself to upgrade from XP to Windows 7. The prices are very reasonable (about half) from when I had my present PC built 10 years ago. And compared to the hardware installed, the speed and formats, make using them so much more enjoyable.
This is an excellent desktop computer for your average user. Most of them come with a 2.8ghz processor, but mine came with a 3.8ghz processor. It can upgrade to a total of 4gbs of RAM, which is plenty for your average user. It's not a gamming computer. The intergraded video card is it's main weakness, but (here again) it is fine for your average user. Mine is compatible with both windows 7 And 8, 32-bit and 64-bit. Windows 8.1 32-bit will also run on this computer (but not the 64-bit version). Over all I am very happy with the Dell GX 620 that I bought.
