I have a Kenwood 573BT touchscreen radio in my 2007 Impala, and it has the inputs for a rearview camera, so I decided to install this one. The picture quality is nice, but sometimes there is a little bit of noise in the signal. Nothing major. That may be because I have lots of power running through 0/0 gauge wire for my amplifiers in my trunk, and they run next to the signal wire for the camera. The camera itself seems zoomed in on my screen, and it's hard to get your bearings when you can't see your bumper from the license plate mounted camera. However, for such a great price, it works as intended. Great product! I can see at night, but in order to help, I installed some super bright LED reverse lights in my car.

It has very generic instructions translated from Chinese, but idiot proof standard wiring for power to the camera and video monitor. The only thing is a mystery red pigtail wire on each end of the RCA Male connectors for the video. It is not mentioned in the installation and appears to serve no purpose. The distance scale seems accurate, night vision is excellent, however sunshine washes out the camera and engine noise (lines in the video) shows up while the motor is running. The video cable has no shielding at all, but the signal noise does not cause too much drop in video quality. Reminds me of old TV signals when someone started a blow dryer. The camera does tilt a few degrees up and down, but a seam is visible that has allowed rain or condensation in previous similar cameras I've owned in the past, which then makes them useless. Hopefully this camera can withstand rain and humidity. 9/10/2016****Update, as usual with Chinese Made products, this one failed after 2 months for no apparent reason. I've been a Computer and Electronic Engineer for 4 decades so I know how to diagnose and repair most anything. On that note the camera components themselves failed with normal use. Although cheap, it is a pain to have it fail with a large vehicle and blind spots. All the cables and power source checked out fine, but no more signal from the camera. I went with a hard wired style knowing the problems of the wireless cameras. I am so sick of Chinese Made Junk being crammed down our throats without any choice of quality made American Products anymore. Don't buy this crap camera. Read full review

I have an extended cab long bed. The cord is not long enough, I had to get an adaptor and add another length of cable. The instructions are poor. There are three red wires in the circuit, you only need to use one of them. I connected my red wire to my backup lights so the video goes to backup mode as soon as I put it in reverse. There is a delay, the video is not instant. Other than short cable and no directions, the camera works perfectly, especially for hooking up to my camp trailer.

The camera has good quility it does fog up when I wash my car or it rains that the down fall I would recommend that if u get this try some way to seal it a lil better fog spot takes a dry and sunny day to disappear. Other was for the money it worth dealing with than buying a more expensive one

I am brand new to rear view cameras on vehicles. I recently purchased a new-to-me Toyota Tacoma used from a dealer. It had an aftermarket rear view camera but it didn't work. I did some investigating on the internet and decided on this particular camera. I couldn't be more pleased! This camera is a fabulous deal! It has excellent view qualities. The case, wiring and connections are not cheaply made. It also comes with enough wiring to fit nearly any vehicle. Mine fit with cable to spare. The camera head itself can be adjusted up or down which really aids in working closely to objects like trailer tongues. I don't know how the infrared works but I know that it does. You can see behind you at night! For the price, this camera can't be beat!!!
