Handy base for calipers
A good and handy base for your caliper to get a quick depth reading on small jobs. The base does what would be expected of the depth stem on a digital or dial caliper. I myself found the base works best on a digital caliper and not so well on my dial caliper. The mfg. is here in the U S A. Big plus and the price is good. Do understand that this is in no way a replacement for the full size depth gauge.A good and handy base for your caliper to get a quick depth reading on small jobs. .002 taper
Has a .002 taper so when your measuring anything of a decent distance your not going to get a decent measurement. Also doesnt fit mitutoyo calipers. You will damage ur instrument with the screw in order to get repetition with measuring

Easy Depth Gage
Precision made by iGage. Fits several brands of calipers I have. This is a fast way to measure depth up to the length of your caliper. Buy an iGage caliper and leave it set up all the time. I use a surface plate to level the attachment with the end of the caliper.

For the money, great!
It's not a Mitutoyo, but the Mitutoyo version cost 4 times as much. It fits my Mitutoyo Digimatics fine. I used some 600 grit and cleaned up a few sharp edges. Well worth the money. It will work fine for the number of times I will needed. Precision surfaces grind looked good.

This Depth Gauge Attachment is sturdy, fits snugly on my 6" caliper, and is held firmly in place by the included set screw. No problem here! In fact, I think I'm going back to order another one for my 8" calipers! As I said--- great tool for the price!
