This is possibly the most well-designed battery tester ever made. It is intuitive and easy to use. The fact it has its own power saves on the batteries being tested. Just remember it is like Algebra 101: negative side to the left; positive (+) to the right-hand side as you face it. It is delightful to use. The seller is savvy & patient.

    A fast, handy battery tester that should be klutz-proof

    I was surprised; I've used battery testers all my adult life, mostly Radio Shack products. A battery tester is usually a plain vanilla product. This one isn't. It's designed to be used without much thought, and to be used with speed or haste. You only need to fit your battery into the appropriate slot, and look at the scale. That's it. It doesn't require looking at a User Guide (I can't remember if it came with a User Guide--I don't think so). There is a slight downside: it requires one AAA battery to work--included with the product. So, while you're testing batteries, you have remember, at some point, your AAA battery must be replaced and the replacement must be on hand. But if you have klutzes in your family, at your workplace, this is the battery tester for you and them.

    Convenient and great price, but limited test indication

    I wish I could recommend this product. It is so darn convenient. The problem is that the test measures the battery without a load. I intentionally saved various batteries that the device it was being used in indicated that the battery needed to be replaced. In most cases The Tenergy T-333 indicated that the battery was good. The shortcoming is that the batteries are not tested under load, i.e., are measured open-circuit. Unfortunately, battery testers that do test under load, test far few types of batteries and are much more expensive. So, the Tenergy T-333 can't be beat for convenience and price and can tell a dead battery from a well-charged one. Testing for a weak battery, well, that isn't within the T-333's ability.

    Great product after minor adjustments.

    Fast, easy to understand test results, however, I did have to make a minor adjustment to the two positive contacts at the button cell test site. The contacts needed to be bent up and toward the perimeter of the depression in order to prevent shorting of the battery under test. If you don't mind making these easy adjustments, I would recommend this tester.

    Great value and recommended for all household batteries.

    This tester is a great product and works well. However, the instructions were very vague and it takes some practice to figure out how to test button cell batteries. If the instructions were better I would have given this product 5 stars.

    Good product

    It works as intended. I don’t know that it’s anything other than a battery tester, giving you a voltage reading with the condition state (weak, good etc,) as drscribed telling you the health condition/life left in the battery. It’s a little bigger than I expected as the ad says compact.
