Kennedy Model 220 Radio Regenerative Receiver, All Original, 1-Tube, Early 1920s:
$867.99

You are offerding on a Colin B Kennedy Model 220 regenerative receiver made in the early 1920\'s. It is a 1-tube set designed for frequency of 175 to 3100 meters (broadcast band plus more). It is all original, complete, and unmodified, but has not been restored. So, it needs a much better cleaning. The cabinet has original finish with age wear, but there are no extra holes in the bakelite panel or cabinet. The coil windings are all still tight. It appears to be made soon after the company moved their headquarters from San Francisco to St. Louis, as it has the large California style metal binding posts. The included tube is a tipped UV 200-As, but does not show filament continuity. The panel shows a scratch on the left side, but it appears to be in the panel finish, and should buff out. I have not tried to operate it, but everything looks good with no wiring breaks, so it should work. It measures 14 1/2 by 12 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches in size, not including the controls. This is a high quality early regenerative receiver for your collection. The Model 525 two stage amplifier was designed to match this set.Shipping weight is 24 pounds. Please see by other sales for moreinteresting tubes and radio/audio items.
