I would recommend it for 2-4 way type setups, or for subwoofers requiring less than 200RMS.It is very efficient in its sound at 92db (m/w), and does not require a huge amplifier to get great sound out of it. It puts out solid bass response with its 40 oz vented magnet, and rubber surround. Customers have had good results using this as a replacement with little to no modifications in Yamaha, Pioneer, Fisher, Sony, KLH, Sansui, Kenwood, Optimus / Realistic, AMPEG BSE115, and more (double check your dimensions before ordering).
