Answer: Yes but the base is very flimsy and easily cross threaded if you are not careful. They sell a larger mount that is telescoping. Get that one instead.

Answer: Connects to a standard quarter twenty thread nut on the projector. Like what\'s on a camera for connecting to a tripod.

Question: Do i need to drill this into a stud? or just drywall is ok?

Answer: If you\'re just going to put it into drywall I would suggest using anchors to screw it into, as the weight of the projector will more than likely pull it right out of the drywall. Mine is mounted into oak wood trim that separates our dining room from our living room.
