Up for sale is a Vintage Dell Latitude C640 Pentium III Windows 98 DOS Compatible Laptop that has been Fully Tested
Laptop trackpad wanders, mouse is included and prevents the issue from happening.
This laptop is pushing well over 20 years old, it shows signs of wear from the last two decades of storage. You may notice scuffs, scratches and other small cosmetic defects. It however still functions well, at least for what programs and tasks it was intended for. This is definitely a machine you would not want to connect to the Internet.
Old software and hardware gadgets is where this laptop shines. It’s not a speed demon compared to today’s super computers but time is not relevant while on a nostalgia trip.
Someone at some point installed a copy of Windows 98. We have verified this to be free of junk, bloatware and other issues.
The USB port has been tested and works with USB flash drives formatted with the FAT32 file system.
The RS-232 serial port has been tested.
Display works great, it shows a bit of age but still shows a good picture.
Speakers sound good.
Keyboard is intact and trackpad are both fully functional.
