YAESU YO-301 STATION MONITOR / MONITORSCOPE
Offered for sale is my vintage Yaesu YO-301 Station Monitor/Monitorscope with manual.
Unlike some of the vintage equipment I am selling, this unit has been powered and is in good working condition.
The CRT is bright, and photographs included with the listing show the YO-301 powered on.
The YO-301 was designed as a station monitoring instrument for amateur radio use. Its functions include monitoring an on-air transmitted signal, oscilloscope operation, and a built-in two-tone generator for SSB transmitter adjustment.
OPERATING CONDITION
The YO-301 is in good working order.
- Powers on normally
- CRT is bright
- Unit is operational
- Photographs show the unit powered on
- Manual is included
I feel comfortable representing this unit as a working YO-301.
As with any vintage electronic equipment, please understand that this is an older piece of amateur-radio equipment and is being sold based upon its present operating condition.
COSMETIC CONDITION / FRONT TRIM DAMAGE
There is some cosmetic damage to the front chassis trim/ring.
This damage occurred during shipping when I purchased the YO-301 several years ago. It was received by me in this condition.
The damage is clearly shown in the photographs.
The damage has not prevented me from using the unit and does not affect its operation.
Aside from this specifically disclosed cosmetic damage, I consider this to be a good example of a working YO-301.
Please examine all photographs closely for the overall cosmetic condition of the cabinet, front panel, controls, CRT, and trim.
NOTE REGARDING CRT DISPLAY:
As shown in the photographs, the horizontal trace has a very slight upward tilt toward the right side of the CRT. The unit has been left as-is rather than opened or adjusted solely for purposes of this sale. The CRT itself is bright and clear, and the slight trace alignment is visible in the photographs.INCLUDED WITH THE SALE
