Works, but not as well as 1st one I bought
The first one I purchased and used very little, died on me during an investigation, after inspecting found one of the circuit boards soldering fell apart, rendering it useless, so purchased a new one form same dealer, for the price, thought why not. the lens cap on the new one is different and you projects a very small area unless you push down on the lens cap to produce a much bigger pattern. only problem is you would have to keep pushing down on the lens cap which makes the item useless to use, first thought was to take the old lens cap and place it on the new one, can't different size and configuration. Oh well it was only $7. Will try to figure out how to solder the old one or just buy from a different source. The one good thing about this one is you can remove the lens cap and use it ... I've purchased and modded several of these lasers. Easy to do if you know what your looking at. Sometimes the diameter of the module is different or it will be pressed in from the front or the back. The hosts and anodization are pretty decent, the tailcaps are decent, but the quality of the LED module is questionable. I've bought over a dozen and at least 1/3 were DOA or dead shortly after arrival. One lasted less than 30 seconds. I modify them to put out much more than stock power, so to me it isn't a huge deal but I would be pretty upset if I was expecting a long lasting quality product. Excellent novelty items, great for showing off to friends and family, but not something I would let a kid play with unattended, as they could cause serious permanent eye damage. Good for the price.
Laser works fine and I’m able to use my vape battery’s for it which is nice. Within 1 hour of it being delivered though the attachment piece for the laser design broke.

Lazer pointer
The body of this laser pointer is a very sturdy build but the attachment that screws on the tip to make multiple lazer design is very brittle and could break easily. I only paid $5.50 for this item and has been a fun little impulse Buy but would not recommend paying much over that. All in all I'm satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this item.

The laser has a diffuser that breaks the light up into hundreds of smaller points. It really lights up the yard when we use it on the patio at night. It does require a special 18650 battery, I had a little trouble finding one at the local store.
