    Decent stand at 60% off.

The stand was better than I expected for the price. I got 2 but they aren't exactly the same and one has a tad of rust on it but all and all, for 60% off and free shipping, you can't go wrong! I got 2 for my hang drums and it's a perfect fitting stand for them! It has been quite a while now and I am still loving these stands. I can set up and break down in minutes. The stands fold up with a carry bag which helps to keep my larger gig bag organized. I like the acoustics better when using them also. Some people sit on the ground to play, I am old and it is not comfortable for me. Also, when playing at city parks I worry about the filth on the ground. The stands are versatile and can also be easily "tweaked" for odd sized instruments.

Good for only very basic need

This stand does what it needs to do, holds a snare drum in place, but it is very light duty. The real problem is, there are much more substantial stands available for not a lot more money. It is very hard to tell from the picture but the main post is positively tiny. I don't believe this stand would hold up well to heavy hitting and hard use. That said, it does hold the drum. If you are on the tightest of budgets, and every penny counts, it might be okay. For $10-20 more you can do much better though.

  • Griffin Snare Stand

Very good drum stand for the investment. I ordered two stands. One for snare and other for a tom stand. Not heavy duty for extreme gigging but thats not why I purchased the product. If could change anything: I would like to see the center stand tube extended about 3" to 4" longer. I have a vintage Rogers set and finding parts is difficult. I have purchased the Griffin Snare Stand to use as a tom stand. It's a little short in height but works fine. My expectations have been met plus. Kevin, old time drummer reliving his youth

  • Lightweight but with great features.

At this price point I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. I bought it to hold my practice pad and it does fine for that. It is probably not sturdy enough to hold a 6 1/2" X 14" snare or a tom and certainly not what I would consider "road worthy" but for a smaller, lighter snare drum or practice pad it will do the job without breaking the bank.

  • Griffin Chrome Snare Drum Stand

I was looking for a light weight snare stand at a economical cost and bought two of these stands. i use one on a practice kit and 1 for an extra stand to hold and display one of my high end snare drums. It's a pretty decent stand for the money. I like that it has a memory lock on it. It helps secure the stand. The basket is a little lighter than expected and the crank to tighten the snare to the stand is a little hard to move but it does the job. I'm not sure how long this stand would last if I used it on my road kit but for my practice room it is perfect. I'm happy with this stand.
